A berserk Conan, a gorgeous female character and one of his trademark prehistoric monsters ... Not to mention the dog :) What more could you ask from a Schultz piece? Just awesome!

You could ask for a cat, large or small.

The background and foreground work is so subtle and textured, reminiscent of Virgil Finley, compared to the stark figure of Conan. Schultz knocking it out of the park.

I expect, in the story within, that you found out, in the most convoluted of plot twists, that the small dog was in fact responsible for all the deaths, as small animals often unintentionally cause people to trip up as they walk around legs unnoticed. Or maybe, twist of twists, they were tripped up by a cat, which scarpered when the crazed barbarian started jumping in a menacing manner toward the innocent monster. Look at the guy. hes terrified .

I have got to track down this comic to find out why Conan is so terrified of that dog that he's ready to take his chances against some monsterous serpent in lieu of a Conan v Canine showdown!
Talk about a scene stealer, I love the lil fella.

I was in Mark's line flipping through the portfolios when you picked this up at Heroes. It looked incredible in person. Congrats.

Wow! How the heck did I miss seeing this? Absolutely stunning Conan cover by the incredible Mark Schultz! Fabulous action on this cover with Conan leaping into action to attack a venomous-looking beastie threatening him and the requisite babe! Utterly gorgeous brushwork on this piece makes the art pop off the page! What a graat pick-up! Congrats!

I am told by a certain source that I am remiss in commenting on this piece and my laziness is criminal. Phooey on that person....and fabulous piece! Wow! I rest my case.

Titan Comics' Conan is surprising me, even more so with Mark Schultz's Artists designing the Covers.

Great face on Conan! I missed the little dog on my first glance. Go get that snake, Fido!

Wonderful art! Congratulations! I love the composition and detail, especially the perspective and spines on the snake dragon. Nice touch having bones and skulls on the steps below and fog above to help frame the piece. PS - Who's the barbarian with the axe?
