DescriptionWolverine Giant Size Special 1 page 31Old Man Logan - Part 8 of 8 by Steve McNiven (pencil) and Dexter Vines (ink) Signed by Steven McNiven and Dexter Vines! Marvel - September 23rd 2009 Second to last page to one of my favorite series of all time and from the long awaited Giant Size Special!!! ! Wolverine says goodbye to his burried family and to his neighbors as he prepares to deliver justice and bring back order with his new teamate, Baby Banner. Sequel please!? I really enjoyed the use of silhouettes throughout the issue and especially love the huge close-up in the bottom panel. Any thoughts on the future hit list? Mysterio, the White House...? Any thoughts on the future team ups? White queen, Black bolt...? Social/Sharing |

That bottom panel is killer! Another one of those Western inspired images that really appeals to me. Personally, I'm hoping he tracks down Mysterio and gets some vengeance. Preferably, a vengeance that involves lots of flashbacks to the Vegas fight between the heroes and the villains. Is it too early to call dibs on those pages? DIbs! :- ) I'm also wondering what Namor is up to. The Marvel anti-heroes seem to have fared pretty well on the day it all went down. Wolverine, Hawkeye, White Queen, Black Bolt, Hulk, Venom are/were still alive. Only seems right that Marvel's first anti-hero should still be around as well, or at the very least have had a good final battle. Above all, ANY sequel HAS to reunite Millar and McNiven. Their work has been so amazing with this story, that I can't imagine anyone else replacing them.

I'd like a series showing how us how the heroes fell "that day"...let's face it Captain America defeated by the Red Skull and the capital building blown up leaves us with a lot of questions. I'd like to see that before a sequel to OML.
