So is the Protector here actually a drawing of the Protector, or is it a modified Robin? It's a terrific acquisition in any event.

Looking at the actual artwork, this is obviously an original of Protector, so I'll go out on a limb and say this may be the first time he was drawn where it was originally meant to be him. All the other pages I have, it is obvious that the character was changed to be the Protector. Cool, yeah?

I haven't followed the Titans as much as I'd have like to - has the Protector character returned later with a different character donning the costume ? Very beautiful and memorable cover BTW...

Joe called it, the Keebler Elf is the 80s answer to Batmite! ...always stirring up trouble, that rascally elf... ;)

It is such a bizarre mix of elements (Reagan-era "just say no" drug awareness agitprop, Keebler Elf product placement; purposeful multiculturalism, generic superhero costuming), and yet it's remembered, for better or worse, all these years later by those of us who were there. This is one of the most interesting pieces in your gallery.
