Description

Superman's Face is a Curt Swan / Murphy Anderson pasteover, Stands out waaaay too much from the original Toth art that was underneath. This is now in Dave Mandel's collection, but I had it before Rich Howell, who then traded it to Frank Giella, and then proceeded to Mandel land. Originally was put into circulation back in 1976. Show's how pieces do travel in the world of us comic art fans.

Stupendous find! This brings back so many memories. I had this poster above my bed when I was a kid, and have tattered copy above my daughter's. Congrats on an iconic piece of art in your collection!
