I purchased this directly from Scott McDaniel. This artwork is the cover for the first issue of his monthly run on BATMAN. This is one of the most popular characters and is my second favorite. I'm lucky to have this great cover and I think the OA blows away the published (colored) version.

Powerdul image. McDaniel got a lot of recognition for his daredevil run, but not nearly enough for his batman run which was brilliant

An Iconic Cover - Scott does a great job always with the shadows, and this is one his top Batman pieces. IMO the original art views better than the published version. Great pickup

Certain graphic images hit you in the face right between the eyes and make you remember them. This is one of those. Congratulations!
