The planets will tremble at the power about to be unleashed! All for only 60 cents!! Roll Call The Villains: Left (top to bottom) Dreadhelm, Behemoth, Blackweb, Madam Satan, Deathless Brain Right (top to bottom) Emulex, Nega-Man, Eliminator, Cyborilla, Darkthorn Bottom (left to right) Cobra, Helios, Count Orlok, Sekhmet, Dr. Micro The Heroes (Clockwise from upper left): TNT Todd, Black Orchid, UltraMan, Grim Reaper, Optima, Raven ~~~~~~ Well, pretty much what is says on the tin. See this for a close-up view of the central piece. With thanks to Kevin Moorhead for keeping this cover concept going with some of his great commissions: The Avengers - The Celestial War #1 Charlton Comics Action Heroes Annual #1 The Atlas League Annual #1 The first thing I could think to do to make it a little different was to have the headshots be villains instead of heroes. Therefore, I needed 15 of the bloody things. Four are public domain, 11 are mine; not too bad. For the central image, I figured something where the heroes have escaped confinement and are ready to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and they're all out of bubblegum. Three of mine, three PD (updated). And Mitch brings the magic again! He likes doing these headshots, so win-win. Social/Sharing |
