Wow! Very cool Neal Adams page for Brave and the Bold! I've always loved Neal's work on Batman. He was the first comic book artist I ever really recognized. Until then, all comic book art kind of blended together for me, I didn't recognize the styles of any of the artists. But then I saw Neal's Batman and all of a sudden it hit me--This guy is different--He's drawing scenes and characters that look like photographs! This page has a lot of the signature elements that I saw as a kid--The interesting POVs that Neal chose, the hyper-real anatomy, even the super tight closeups like the faces in the bottom panel--They all show the influence of photography and of film. Neal Adams was a different kind of artist and I always enjoy seeing his work in other collector's collections. This page really speaks to the kid in me!
