DescriptionI really love Ed's artwork, especially Hulk (and his Superman/Batman run was stellar as well). Ed's favorite Hulk artist was John Buscema and you can see the influence in the way he draws the Hulk - large, overly muscled, and a massive build. I can't get enough of Hulk art from Ed and was thrilled when a friend decided to let this go a few years ago. Also pictured if the package that the art was used for. TGIF - enjoy!Looking for more Ed McGuinness art - Hulk, Spuerman/Batman Social/Sharing |

Well said. Simple, but full of truth - almost Hulk-like!

This is what you'd expect from McGuinness. A monsterously massive powerhouse ready to take on the rigors of being played with by the 4+ crowd or the art being so beautiful that Hulk will be entombed forever in the blister pack.

I'm going to lean heavily into the "+" part of 4+

McGuinness was born to draw the Hulk. And I was born to play with super cool action figures like this one. Win win !!

Man, I need a McGuinness. Excellent acquisition, Dave! Your taste in art (not characters) continues to impress. ;)

Ed McGuinness Hulk is like a Spielberg movie or a Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream--Always a pleasure!

Ed was BORN to draw the Hulk. Probably the best modern Hulk along Keown, Frank and Pelletier.

Totally agree and would add Joe Bennett as an all time great due to his current run on Immortal Hulk

Knuckle sandwich, express delivery! McGuinness really captured some great depth with that quality foreshortening. I can totally see the Buscema pages influence (and why you dig his Hulk so much). Another great score. Congrats!

Would be so easy for artist to think they can skimp on package or label art, since it basically gets tossed in the trash. But this is really an incredible cover-worthy drawing. Even better since there is no logo to accommordate. Congrats buddy! If I had seen this one for sale, I wouldn't even think twice. Great pickup!

Suh-weet! A classic and indicative shot of McGuinness's Hulk. Not hard to see why it was used for the toy packaging :) Overalll there's a real throwback feel but still all Ed! Love it. Congrats, Dave!
