DescriptionThis is a detail of a portion of a photograph elsewhere in this gallery. These are what appear to be the preliminary pencils for the Rip Kirby strip for 03/08/1949. You can see here that Raymond prefered to draw his characters in the nude and add their clothing after he had the anatomy and pose perfectly worked out. The crease is on the photograph, not on the art board that Raymond was working on.Social/Sharing |
