DescriptionDave sent me an email in 2000 that contained a jpeg of this Wonder Woman piece, and he said, “You may have seen it last year in S.D., but, keep it to yourself for now.” So I guess that means he completed it in 1999. It was done for uber-Wonder woman collector - my friend Joel Thingvall, who was kind enough to sell it to me recently while he was in need of funds for a new home with his wife.Social/Sharing |

When I saw this was put up for sale by Joel I felt so bad for him since it was very obvious how much this piece meant to him. I have to say that it is very cool that his good friend ended up getting it. It certainly has another great home. Congratulations on one of, if not the, most beautiful Wonder Woman portrait ever drawn. Dave Stevens was genius.
