DescriptionMy net proceeds from a massive March 2011 trade with my old pal Albert Moy was this lovely (approximately) 18" x 24" full colour painting. Although Dave is recorded in BRUSH WITH PASSION as being disappointed by this piece, I believe it to be one of the most lovely finished painted pieces Dave did in his all-too-brief sojourn amongst us. I've been an admirer of this piece since Tom Neal, the original commissioner, was kind enough to give me a photograph of the art several years ago. I am proud to have the piece framed and hung in my home now. Tom Neal was kind enough to supply a couple of photos of Dave going over his work on the creation of this painting, as well as the reference photo Dave used for the top half of the painting. Ray, now that is something special! She is Gorgeous! I remember first laying eyes on the original hanging on the wall at Mr N's. Blew me away ...

Dave Stevens, Brigitte Bardot and a crazy bike, Can you please tell us what heavens like, because it looks Amazing from here :) A huge Congrats Ray and I imagine we'll be seeing her again in the best of 2011.

I couldn't think of a better combination than Brigitte Bardot and Dave Stevens; after Bettie Page of course. This is beautiful painting.
