DescriptionAt Phoenix Comicon this year I started getting mini sketches of half Spider-man/half Peter Parker head shots. I always liked this effect as a kid and it doesn’t seem like it’s used as much these days.It’s difficult to get full on commissions from as many artists as you’d like at a con so I thought this would be a way to get original sketches of my favorite character in those instances where I couldn’t get something more extensive. I like these because you get the Spidey mask but you also get the facial features. Here’s the first in the series – hope ya’ll like! SO great to see your collection of these by such great contemporary artists! That Cheung piece in particular is amazing (though I've never seen art by him that wasn't).
