Description

This is the painted art by John for the third chapter splash of the Marada the She Wolf graphic novel. The art originally appeared in black and white in the Epic comics from Marvel. When Marvel decided to reprint the entire story they did so in color. Special prints were made for John and he painted them for the new edition. You can see a dramatic difference between this photo and the printed version. The original has an almost 3 dimensional look to it. Very little of Bolton's Marada art has been released over the years. Recently they have decided to make both the black and white and painted art available for sale.
The painting speaks for itself. For me, this is a grail level piece.
