I've always wanted a top-notch Walt Simonson sketch of Thor, but never could find the right one. Too many rushed marker sketches, I was holding out for a great example. As a DC guy, I didn't see a lot of Walt's work other than X-Factor in the late 80s, but over time, his unique style on Thor that I picked up from backissues and TPBs started to resonate with me and the hunt began. This hits all the marks! And its standard board size at 11x17! Totally makes an impact!

Speaking of impact, there is dent from when I placed it for safe-keeping on a shelf, and it fell to the floor when I reached to pull it down. Doh!

When it comes to OA, hard to top a Thor by Walt! Especially a dynamic pose like this, and fully inked! Congrats!
