Description

This is the lower half page from Uncle Scrooge # 42 - page 2 from 1962.
The half page has lived an tumbled life and has once been glued on wood.
( Therefore the yellowness. )
This Half page is remarkable by several reasons : First of all it is one of the oldest published survived Uncle Scrooge comic art.
And it might be the half page with most positurs of Carl Barks famous ducks on 4 following panels which has survived.
15 drawings of ducks on 4 following panels is quite outstanding.
Please notice Donald Duck on the first panel saying ; "Hi, Uncle Scrooge !"
Every morning when I take a look on Donald I think to myself : "Hi, Donald !" :-)
Also I just love the look in Uncle Scrooge eyes on panel number 2. There is a distance and thoughtfulness which only Carl Barks were able to make alive.
