DescriptionMan, talk about generous! This "spectacular" Spidey and MJ piece was commissioned from Buzz by my buddy Jonathan Mueller when we met up at the 2007 WonderCon.Before the show, Jon and I were bemoaning the fact that we were both broke and probably wouldn't be coming home with any new artwork from the show. Well apparently, Jon wasn't as broke as he claimed. Behind my back, he secretly commissioned Buzz to do a Spidey piece for me because he felt so bad about my leaving the show empty handed. The only reason he let the cat out of the bag was because I was toying with the idea of getting a Buzz commission myself. And since he didn't want me to end up with two (especially if I asked for the same character), Jon confided in me that he had already put his name on Buzz's commission list for me. Anyway, Buzz got a little behind on his convetion sketches, so he wasn't able to get this done by the end of the show. Jon just got it in the mail a few days ago, which means that by the time you all read this, it should be speeding it's way to my eagerly awaiting hands! I can't wait. My thanks to Buzz for this inspired creation, and my buddy Jonathan for his unbelievable generosity! You guys are the best.! Social/Sharing |

Eric forgot to mention the small, rather insignificant, fact that he shared the whole of his collection with me in person! 12 hours of art viewing bliss... now that's generosity! Thanks Eric~:)

lol, I can't wait to see the piece you and Buzz were discussing Eric, it's gonna be a classic! Just too funny for words, I have no doubt Buzz will nail it!~:)

Oh young love, swinging between the skyscrapers of a giant metropolitan city. Holding that special someone closely, knowing because you have the powers and abilities of a spider there is know way you can drop her, (...that is of course, unless you are planning on breaking up). Oh, is just does not get better than this. This piece is a beauty Eric.

No worries JB, I've posted more than my share of typos and questionable grammar. I just appreciate your taking the time to visit the gallery and leave a comment. Thanks buddy!

It could be just the bent joint on one of the spider-logo legs, but I prefer to think it gets chilly swinging through the city and that MJ is smuggling peas
