| Q: | Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why? |
| A: | Ha! I actually play a little game with my collector friends who have had the chance to visit and see all the art in person. When they get done going through everything, I give them a pen and paper and make them write down their Top 10. You should see how crazy this makes them. For some, it's taken hours to whittle 400 pieces down to 10. And now you're asking me to pick ONE????? I don't think so. LOL |
| Q: | Please tell us a little about yourself. |
| A: | I'm a relatively quiet (unless I'm talking about art), low key guy living a fairly simple life in Northern California. For the past 8 years I've been working for the local school district. I'm not rich by any means, and the only thing I spend any real money on is art. I enjoy movies and music, and try to support all of the local sports teams. Other than that, there's not much to tell. |
| Q: | How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start? |
| A: | I think I bought my first sketch at a local comic shop back in 1981, so going on 40 years of collecting now. I guess you could say I stumbled upon art collecting by accident because I didn't even know what I was buying when I bought that sketch. I didn't really consider myself a serious collector until maybe 3 or 4 years later. |
| Q: | How do you display/store your collection at home? |
| A: | Stored according to art size. I have one box of under sized or small sized art, one box of odd sized art, three boxes of standard A3 art, two portfolios of DPS and over sized art, various folders of extra large art, and then a handful of framed pieces. |
| Q: | What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions? |
| A: | A nice Dave Stevens piece, a nice vintage BWS piece, a nice vintage Wrightson piece, a nice vintage Neal Adams piece, and basically any artist that I don't yet have represented in my collection. |
