Description

Commissioned from Brent prior to Armageddon Auckland 2013.
This piece was a Homage to the religious 'Descent from the Cross' pieces, particularly the one by Peter Paul Rubens. The cross has shackles like the electric chair SA goes to, and he also wears the cap in place of a crown of thorns. The helmet and gun have been placed on the ground voluntarily. The plaque is in place of the sign depicted in some paintings, and is obviously from the memorial statue to the Agent. The snake is a snake - a little pyramid would have just been too weird. In the background is a Vertigo-inducing Wild Storm.

Religious themes are always tricky especially when you replace the biblical charecters but here it is done in the best possible taste.
