DescriptionOK, I've readjusted my appreciation to the importance of colorwork in original art, thanks to my acquiring this page and the one next to it...But the real reason that hooked me is the fact that the original pencil and ink of this page is already in my collection... I admit I was quite taken by the fact I could frame and display the color page next to the Jack Kirby/Mike Royer/Dave Bruce Berry large art page... And this is exactly what I'm going to do! I mean, check the additional picture for an extra-peek into the painstaking care brought to this, admittedly, cornerstone of comic history. Greg Theakston, Bill Wray and Tony Dispoto deserve significant praise for this, I think... Social/Sharing |
