Very cool painted piece showing how versitile Texeira is with line and paints. Vampi is in classic form as Tex puts focus on her outline that is followed from top to bottom right down the center.

I remember this one well. I had commissioned Mark to do this Vampirella many years ago. I recall walking around the convention floor so excited knowing I was going back near the end of the day to pick it up. I wanted his original painting to the cover of Vampirella Magazine #1 but he was not selling it at the time. Eventually I ended up acquiring that cover and then traded this piece to someone else in another deal. Congratulations on grabbing this great new piece for your collection. :0)
