Description

1994 From the story "Swords of Sukhmet" written by Roy Thomas - the lead in story to REH's "Red Nails"

Pencil and inks by Big John himself. I've always admired this one in other collectors' galleries and was surprised but very happy it came up for sale. I love this page!

Now where can I find a page from Red Nails - haha. My favorite OA HC published by GENESIS WEST but why o why did they print using glossy paper?

Pure Buscema! The magazine allowed for even bolder storytelling and splashes served to captivate the audience and pulling them into the story right away.

With John B it was always a guarantee. The quintessential Conan artist. Hands-down. Plus, he drew beautiful horses!
