Description

If you've ever imagined what it would have been like to see Claudia Jennings -- the late, great Queen of the Drive-In and star of such cinematic classics as Gator Bait and The Great Texas Dynamite Chase -- play our favorite Amazon, this may be as close as you'll get. Peter Krause, best known as the penciler on Power of Shazam, created this knockout pinup in the mid-'90s while working for DC. I don't know whether Krause had Ms. Jennings in mind when he designed this, but her influence certainly inhabits the scenario. My sincere appreciation to former DC colorist Buzz Setzer, who originally commissioned the art from Krause, for allowing me to add this stunning drawing to "the Temple of Diana."
