DescriptionAfter finally reading Curse of the White Knight, this section of Gordon's death really stood out to me as a piece of incredibly cinematic storytelling that's both beautiful and heartbreaking. I could have gotten a page with Batman or Azrael for only slightly more, but I asked about this moment specifically because of how powerful it was. Very excited to add this amazing page to the collection! Thanks Sean and Geoff!Social/Sharing |

Very exciting to see as well. Murphy's alternating panel types tells the two stories that are intertwined and they work beautifully on the page to enhance the main storyline.

Thanks Marcus! I wrote a whole long description about how this moment in the comic really stood out to me as heartbreaking, cinematic and beautiful but the post didn't work and I lost what I wrote and didn't want to rewrite it again ha But yeah, the storytelling is beautiful and so emotional. Feel very lucky that this page was still available!

Take a break from looking at it. Revisit it later and it'll still have the strong effect over you to inspire a new take.

What a poignant moment. You can feel the emotion just pouring off of the page. And SGM's style is so wonderful. I can see why you picked this page. Battles are awesome, but sometimes the best pages are just a deep part of the story. Congrats!

Powerful storytelling. Sean Murphy is so good at creating memorable moments! IMHO "Batman: Curse of the White Knight" is fabulous.
