DescriptionI held off for the longest time looking for the artist to recreate Nova #11 for me. This issue is my favorite of the original series and featured a knock down/drag out battle between Nova and The Sphinx. Several artists were considered before I stumbled across some of the amazing commission work Tony Parker had been doing. I knew that he would not let me down,and he didn't!It's almost beyond belief that Tony does not have a regular gig with the Big 2, but he has dome some really great stuff Boom,Aspen and Dark Horse. Took awhile to get this as I was last on Tony's list, but that guy kept me in the loop the entire time. This is certainly one of the best Nova cover recreations in my gallery and perhaps one of my best commissions period. I elected for ink wash on this and I'm glad I did. The power bursting from The Sphinx is just amazing! Thanks again Tony! Social/Sharing |

I always dug the Rich Buckler original as well as the Sphinx and this is an outstanding recreation.
