I like to think I'm pretty stingy with my 'GRAIL' markers. The only reason THIS doesn't get one, is: Jae is cooking up even bigger and better things for me as we speak (as I type?!). But more on that later (spoiler: it'll be my biggest commission yet), for now let's talk Emma!

Jae had some difficulty capturing Emma, but when he finally nailed it, he... well, NAILED it. The only direction I gave him was: black background to contrast with the "White" Queen. He succeeded as only Jae can succeed: harnessing the essence of a character in one simple composition while steering clear of any "defining" background elements. Nice couch, though.

I mentioned the term "White Queen", not by accident or because it's Emma's go-to nickname. Nope. This image is more White Queen than Emma. Lately, my favorite vixen has veered away from that moniker, becoming softer and more caring for the people around her. THIS Emma would be like, "Fuck that!" and crack a whip across the face of the puny mortal who deemed himself worthy enough to throw a glance in her general direction. Filthy peasant.
