Description

I am very proud to own this piece! I got in contact with Doug a month or so before Oz Comic Con Perth 2015, and he was really enthusiastic about doing a commission for me. I suggested two of my favourite Marvel characters with a dark & mysterious, and oft intertwined past: Black Widow and the Winter Soldier.

Even when it came to background idea, Doug was enthusiastic about my suggestions, and even offered a more realistic scenario: a war-torn backdrop.

Doug did this piece digitally as a preliminary (see images below), and then printed out in Blue Line. From there, he inked this physically, and added that little splash of red for Natasha's vibrant hair, and the star on Bucky's metal arm.

I even picked up a Captain Marvel piece (found HERE) from Doug, as he was inking the piece at the Con.
