What can I say about this beauty...other than Wow or Count those characters.... This is a huge 20 x 17 piece and even more stunning in the flesh.

The original Marvel Secret Wars!!

I have had this tucked away for a bit but thought it about time to share it with you guys..

This believed to be the first time that John Romita snr drew the black spiderman costume but due to the Secret Wars project being pushed back a long long time it actually came out after ASM 252.

There is no doubt a tonne more history to this which hopefully will be revealed in due course.

Thanks to Mike Burkey for such a smooth deal and for the info on the piece. And big thanks to Mr Romita Snr for being so brilliant!!!!

Just the mention of Mike Burkey's name makes my suspicions come alive, this piece must have cost a pretty penny but it certainly is worth it!

Fabulous poster art! John Romita Sr's work is about as iconic as it gets. Which makes it perfect for a poster promoting Secret Wars. Great, great pick-up!
