Description**Double Spidey Posts Week 23 of 26***I have been looking forward to this particular week, as I get to showcase two Spectacular Spider-Man covers by the great Sal Buscema. I started reading comics again the exact month this issue hit the stands, and I remember this cover so vividly. I loved the clean white background that made the five characters really pop. It featured this unusual group of characters that were being billed as "a daringly different super-team," and best of all, Spidey was front & center in one of Sal's famous double-web-swinging poses. As my fellow collectors know, I am also a big fan of multi-character covers, so when this piece became available from a CAF friend, I had to go for it. (Thanks Stanton!) I also really like the way Sal hid a spider logo within the artwork. Can you find it? Social/Sharing |

A very cool and memorable cover. Always like Puma and Prowler as supporting and/or adversaries for Spidey that fluctuated and Sandman is an all time great Spidey villain who worked as well as a begrudging ally. Thought long and hard on this one. Bravo!

Thanks for the comment and the congrats!

I remember this exotic and weird team up of weird characters. What can I say, but "all hail The Outlaws!". Funny pick!

Fun cover Paul, congrats! I remember us talking about this piece a while back :) It's a nice fit for your always growing, and incredibly impressive, Spidey cover vault. The added logo stats make this piece really pop! - Sandman's sand, for the win-
