Description

This pick up makes me happier than any in a long time! As a teen I would leaf through every Warren issue, and if it had even a page of Wrightson I bought it. I was quite interested in young Chaykin's work at the time as well. Bernie was working at his peak in this period, and his inks elevate Chaykin's pencils to such a degree that the published story (in Eerie 72) improperly lists Bernie first.

I agree this is a real neat piece. Had to restrain myself from bidding on it because i had some other real-life financial obligations. congrats!

I love Wrightson's Warren work too!

Great looking page! Really interesting combination that in realization far exceeds what I might have imagined. Nice layouts with distinctive characteristics of both artists in synergy.

Wow! These guys should have worked together more often! Rarely do the efforts of two fantastic artists together actually surpass the sum of their parts, but this page... Ohhh my... Wonderful storytelling, fun layout, spectacular inkwork. Score!
