DescriptionAs his super soldier serum turns against him with dire health consequences, and as a new Super Patriot teams up with the evil Dead Ringer in order to smear his reputation, Cap wonders if he's getting into a battle that he can't win.I was drawn to this beautiful cover because it showcases Cap's fierce determination as well as his despair over those forces seemingly beyond his control (though we all know he will prevail in the end). Besides the two great images of Cap, you also get a shadowy menacing figure running up from behind him to bring disarray to his life. (Maybe that Super Patriot fella?) I also wanted to share this cover because when you are leaving one year and entering a new one, with lots of world strife and uncertainty ahead, it helps to draw inspiration from a character like Cap, who always overcomes adversity and holds onto hope and optimism. So ... 2025 ... it's a'gonna ROCK!! Now please excuse me. I’m off to watch the final episode of Daredevil season 3. It’s a’rockin’ too! Social/Sharing |

I do like that saddened figure at the bottom right but on the same cover we also get CAP Cap in the main image...whatever the odds may be...he/we strive to come out on top!

Iconic looks of Cap by Hoover in triumph and defeat! The stress and pressure of a whole new decade of the 90's would later have him don an armored look to keep up with the times!
