Description

Alex Toth was simply a genius of comic art. His pages are rendered in lines which are deceptively flowing. A closer look reveals unmatched storytelling, layout, and imagination. His use of black and white balances ranks with the greats of the medium. I never tire of studying his pages. I feel fortunate to have this little sketch showing how his creativity flowed.

That is more then a sketch page. The circular array of faces and two figures are mixer done. Great pickup.

I was thrilled to get this one. I've enjoyed his work for so long. I think the piece gives an interesting peek into his thought/creative process.
