Description

I was saddened to hear of the recent passing of the talented and versatile "Butch" Guice. I initially noticed his work on Swashbucklers and Temple Of Doom. I would then follow him through the intervening years. He refined his style through the years into a very distinct rendering. Thrilled to pick this page up from one of his later creative efforts. I love all the little details in these panels.

It's as evolved as a style as he got showing the energetic drive he's had since the start while able to bring layers of textures only the most experienced of the artform can.

Glad you liked it. I'm thrilled to have it. I know he was a student of the classic strip artists. It shows in the panels here. I finmd new bits each time I study it. Gone far too soon.
