JACK KIRBY and VINCE COLLETTA "Journey Into Mystery" #110 Thor (Marvel, 1964)

A historical page of one of those great "Tales of Asgard" back-up features has Odin teaching his son Thor a valuable lesson. This "twice-up" piece has an image area of 12.5" x 18.5".

Negli albi originali di Journey Into Mystery, alla fine, si raccontano le "Tales of Asgard" (storie di Asgard), brevi racconti di 5 pagine, dove Odino insegna ad un Thor ancora giovane le regole per diventare un buon re. Questa pagina, tratta dalla storia intitolata "La Sconfitta di Odino", � realizzata in soli quattro pannelli di grandi dimensioni, un buon esempio dell'arte SILVER-AGE di Kirby dove ammirare sia l'ambientazione che le particolari armature asgardiane!
