Description

Great 1992 cover featuring SPIDEY and SOLO being attacked by evil versions of Captain America (codename DEATH-SHIELD), Hawkeye (JAGGED BOW) and Spidey himself (BLOOD SPIDER). This issue featured the first appearance of these new villains, who were all trained by TASKMASTER to slow the web slinger down. But Spidey made mincemeat of all of them in true Spidey style.

This issue also features the RED SKULL (who was apparently taking a breather from tormenting Cap) in the continuing saga of Peter Parker's parents.

Fantastic pencils and inks by Bagley and Emberlin.

I will also be posting a page from the issue, the only battle page between Spidey and Blood Spider. (Sadly for BS, it wasn't a very long fight)

This run was by far my favorite Spiderman books. This is a great cover by one of the best Spidey artists.
