Description

I thought this one got lost in the mail when I purchased it because it took over 5 weeks to arrive. I sent an email to Gene and Adrienne Colan saying I thought it was lost and copied in the seller. Gene/Adrienne's replay was "Nooooo!!! We love that page!"

It arrived in the mail 3 days later.

This is a beautiful piece of storytelling. I'm so glad it didn't get lost in the mail. I can totally see how Adrienne would have been upset. Thanks for sharing your lovely Colan artwork!

Adrienne was just a pleasure to communicate with. She counter-balanced Gene's more reserved nature perfectly. I bought dozens of Colan art pieces over the years from them and enjoyed every interaction.

Man- this is the kind of page that terms like "awesome" and "amazing" fail to describe. Tony Stark does not get any more classic (or classy!) than this! SOOOO jealous!

I'm very sentimental for Daredevil Colan pages. But if I could sit and watch Gene Colan draw any page I've seen from start to finish, this would probably be my choice. (My jealousy was reading Mark Evanier recount how he used to watch Jack Kirby compose and create his pages.) Thanks for the kind words.
