Description

Here's another page from the concluding sequence from Tomb of Dracula #70, the final issue of the long running four-color title.

Domini, the Bride of Dracula reflects on life after his death, when their son Janus reappears. Domini had resurrected Janus previously by merging his spirit with that of the Golden Angel, transforming Janus to adult form. Here and on the following page, the Golden Angel spirit departs, returning Janus to infant form to reunite with his mother.

There are a couple more pages from this denouement sequence that I'd love to reunite with their siblings. I've included them in additional images, below.

May I just say that you have the best collection of Gene Colan pages I've ever seen? Not just more pages, more different titles--Amazing Adventures, Captain America, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Howard the Duck and Tomb of Dracula. It's fun reading through the various pages and studying Gene's amazing output. He wasn't just one of the best artists in Marvel's stable, but he was one of the best comic book artists period. Page after page he drew gorgeous pages that astonished readers like me and left us wanting more. Thanks for sharing all this amazing work with us CAF fans.
