Description

Daredevil #57 is a pivotal chapter in the great Colan/Shores run. This issue includes the death of Karen Page's father, the villain Death's Head. At Paxton Page's funeral, DD reveals his secret identity to Karen in one of Gene's most beautiful and dramatically rendered scenes.

I found the previous page 9 of this Colan-channels-Hitchcock sequence in the last century, so adding this consecutive page 10 recently was a decision that involved little or no mental effort. Gene's matchless cinematography skills are on excellent display here.

The use of light and shadow, and how they rendered that ghostly shadow on that wall is fantastic. Masterful work by Colan and Shores here. I love this pairing, and what a great page! Congrats
