DescriptionWords really can't describe how much this page from a favorite childhood comic means to me. This art, from a story that powerfully imprinted in my mind at the age of six, is the axe that breaks the ice of a frozen sea of lost decades, reawakening the child's sense of awe and wonder at the quirky newness of an infinite world of unknowable and limitless possibilities. Please, sell me your Colan/Everett Black Widow artwork, or so help me, I'll drop some metaphorical frogwash that will make the above sound lucid! Thanks to collector Robert Frey for the chance to add this page from my absolute grail story to my collection. Social/Sharing |

These 2 pages, 9 & 10, back to back is about the best example I can think of why we all love comics and the artists that make them. Just beautiful! Your quest is worthy. Good luck.

This is one of my favorite stories and Colan pages ever. Look, a superheroine who has feelings for another human! How radical.

So good!!! What a page! Given your avatar, I should have expected to find these treasures in your collection, but hadn't wandered far enough into your Colan stash til today. Glad you enjoy these as much as one should who is lucky enough to acquire them!

I have always considered that Everett was the best inker that worked with Colan. I have been looking through your collection of Black Widow pages and must say that they all are a delight for my eyes. I am truly amazed by the beauty of Everett's inks!!!
