DescriptionThe good guys plan out their last-stand style defence of the remaining scientists in this phenominally detailed and moody page. Great range of emotions and textures in this stunner - I love the look of Cap's chain mail and his hard, resolved, weatherbeaten look. Also the Matrix-like Wall of Big Guns in silhouette, gotta dig it! I'm reminded of David Mazzuchelli's mastery of pacing, shadows, facial expressions and style in Daredevil:Born Again, which is a very rare compliment indeed, as the latter is one of my all-time favourite stories in the medium.Social/Sharing |

Thanks, Alex! The whole miniseries is full of awesome moments, a few of which I managed to nab when I saw Mr Campbell's pages up for sale. Including one of THE most brutal Hulk/Wolverine clashes I've ever seen - and considering how they love to throw down, that's saying something!
