Amazing prelim piece which I once had grace my collection. Glad to see it has a good home!
Another beauty. Tom Strong pages by Moore are not easy to come by! Sprouse is one of the consummate draughtsmen in the modern comics era. Gorgeous, flawless page!
Well done, sir! A brilliant score! Great page, and it's going to look perfect in your collection!
Giffen is channeling Kirby so well in this amazing page from a great series!
Absolutely! And early Flagg pages from this era are really hard to find. Had to pull the trigger as soon as I saw this beauty!
Hi Giorgio, thanks for stopping by to let me know! It certainly feels like it could make a gorgeous Heavy Metal or science fiction book cover. Anyway, love your work and I'm thrilled to have such a nice piece. Your skills are amazing, sir!
That's probably the case, the guy who traded it with me seems to think so too. Well, the comics' world loss is certainly my gain, is this is both a fascinating and beautiful splash!
Perfection. Pure poetry, as beautiful and haunting as it gets. Bravo and thank you for sharing this sublime piece,
Thanks Steven! It's one of my favourites, framed and on display for me to marvel at every day! Frank knocked it out of the park with this beauty, and while it may not have been given it's rightful audience in print, it's gone to a very admiring owner.
One of the most gorgeous Alcala pieces I've seen for quite awhile, and that's saying something! Absolutely epic.
Love the detail and dynamism in this. One hell of a piece!
Thanks Paul! I have such a soft spot for the old Marvel B & W mags of this period - the calibre of the inking was often what elevated the art too. Love the fact that you can see the bold chunky design of Trimpe in the characters, vastly enhanced by Alcala's unmatchable texturing and solid, weighty blacks and half-tones. Rampaging Hulk was remarkable in some of it's unlikely artistic pairings, and they usually worked!
Your eye is astute and discerning as ever, sir! And this is indeed an amazing addition to my humble collection. One of my favourites.
Damn, this is a stunner. Such balletic flow to every pose and panel! Amazing catch!
Thanks Art! Flagg pages don't come up often so I'm happy to add this luscious example to my humble collection!
I'm definitely seeing a lot of top-tier Chaykin served up in smokin' hot portions on this page! Some great work here and Raul definitely sealed the deal!
Thanks Paul! Bang on - love the way Bruner frames this pose to make old Greenskin practically burst out of the page! I can't recall if Frank ever drew Hulk for the printed page, but am SO pleased to have this fine example of his take on my favourite fictional powerhouse!
Thanks for stopping by to show your appreciation, Mario! I love everything Hayden has done in 2025, particularly Wonder Woman. This page is so full of childhood magic!
MAGNIFICENT cat-ch! (Yeah, I'm still slaying it with the Dad Jokes!) Im seriously in paw of this incredible two page Top Ten grail!
Very impressed that you've managed to hunt down and bag such a great sequence from a classic and brilliant Alan Moore run!
Merci beaucoup, Paul! Yep, it's a fun page and certainly captures that edgy, explosive energy of early 200AD capers! Gibbons has always been a brilliant and passionate visual storyteller - the detail in his early work especially, when the artwork had to stand on it's own two feet without colour, is phenomenal.
It's a real beaut, isn't it? Always good to have your keen, insightful eye enjoy my humble collection. Your observations are so spot on!
Absolute classic - love this depiction of Sal's uncompromisingly bestial Hulk, and such great dialogue to go with the amazing visuals! Marvel Magic doesn't get better!
Brilliant pick-up and an essential win for the Chaykin Dude! What a great story page!
Agreed - Absolutel Wonder Woman soars, in both scripting and art. Every page is a gem and everything is in service to the story.
Thanks for stopping by to show your appreciation!
Thanks Marcus! My wife did the research, she's a classicist who knows her stuff. So seeing the piggie made her think this is referring to the story of Odysseus - making the mythological references all the richer. And I agree, Sherman's page designs for WW are a knockout.
I'd also add that not only do we see Diana as raised in Hell (when she was sent there by cruel & fearful gods as a baby to die!), she tames it and makes it her home through her fearlessness, while civilizing and making the monsters fall in love with her huge, kind heart. A lesson and role model for us all...
One of the all-time classics. This had me tearing up when I read it decades ago. It still has great emotional resonance. Starlin at his best.
Amazing! BWS is such a Master - the design, the linework, the shadows...sublime. You've done very, very well to pick this beauty up. It's also so much nicer to buy direct from the artist, especially if you either meet them or have a dialogue with them. Barry is one of the greats!
Another remarkable, historic page from what feels like an increasingly prophetic tale. One of Miller's best, and these masterpieces couldn't go to a more worthy home (but thank the Gods I managed to nab one for mine!)
Rob, you've got some museum-worthy Gibbons masterpieces in your gallery! What a brilliant page! Totally agree with your assessment of Rufus too, a great guy to deal with.
Such a great story page from this landmark graphic novel! Amazing pick-up Rob!
Thanks for the respect to this great page from an epic graphic novel, Bill! I absolutely agree regarding this being some of Frank Miller's best writing, too. Prime Gibbons + prime Miller = one heck of a ride and a feast for the eyes!
WOWWW!! Hitch does one of the most savage Hulk renditions ever! Love his work on Hulk in The Ultimates (and boy was I stoked when I finally nabbed one of his stunning Hulk DPSs from the series) and he knocks it right out of the park here too. Great choice, and another example of glorious and worthy display in the framing.
Got to say, Hulk Ultimate Destruction was one great game too. I've got some of the Hitch's Hulkbuster designs from it and they are amazing. Hitch is an all-rounder!
Well done scoring such an amazing DPS by Klein! Looks great in a frame, it's a wall-worthy piece of Hulk history!
Totally with you there, Dwayne. The Marvel fanboy in me melts at the sight of classic Silver Age Iron Man, but the artist goes ooooo! at the visual splendour of that last panel too! Alcala is such a Master of embellishment.

Sublime! P Craig Russell's work is sheer poetry. Magnificent find!
Another beauty! Bolland's cover pencils are a joy!
Remarkably detailed and fun 'prelim' which is in practice a fully-fleshed-out cover design with all the bell and whistles! Amazing catch!
Thank you Ken! Loving your collection! And I couldn't agree more (which is why I fell for this page and the spot and had to have it) - Give Me Liberty is indeed a landmark work, perhaps somewhat overlooked but a real classic. And I feel it's spirit of resistance and heroism in the face of tyranny & cruelty is more relevant than ever. Also a damn good read!
Freaking amazing!! As epic a Kirbly vibe as you could want!
