A preliminary done for Heyne publication of Kontakt radioaktiv by Daniel Keyes published in 1981.
Originally published as The Touch by Harcourt, Brace & World in 1968. Reprinted as The Contaminated Man by Mayflower in 1977.

Cool Science Fiction cover. Makes me think of The Eternaut, which if you've never read, I highly recommend.

I have not read it, unfortunately, it appears to be out of print and copies are going for a mint on eBay!

Oh, that's a shame because it's a classic and the last printing was a beautifully put together package.
