Description

These are Brett Breeding's inks over a copy of Mr Garcia-Lopez' pencils, and done as part of the promotional art for the, sadly short-lived, Batman '66 action figure range from Mattel.

It is a direct homage to the Batman 1966 TV series, episode "Hot Off the Griddle", where the Dynamic Duo find themselves at the mercy of Catwoman's giant barbecues and magnifying glasses.

This piece was sold in aid of the Hero Initiative, the charity whose worthy cause is to support comic creators in their later years and in times of need.
