DescriptionA cool reference to the Cover of Justice League of America by Neal Adams! GROOVY! I actually like the swagger of Johnny Dune over the one on the cover.Splash pages are nice but when they reference cultural events or cultural angst of the times that makes for an even more sweeter page. I actually find this splash more dynamic and well drawn than the Neal Adams cover !! I know I shouldn't have said it, but I really see it that way. Great work !

Dillon's version is far more dynamic. Even the white highway stripe adds something. That the heroes are in a trance does not help the cover. In this story Superman is in JLA Headquarters and flying in outer space. He does not appear in this part of, The Private War of Johnny Dune.
