Jim Baike does some brilliant composition work on that page!
BRUTAL! As brutal as this page looks Alan Moore knew that the character of the Vigilante could be more than just another anti Hero. Great consecutive pages!
Springer brings a lot to this page as an inker. He definitely shows a mastery of the medium as Bedwick notes.
Major cool indeed! Just the Iconic image of Superman makes it an astounding page, and the self contained mini story, well that just hits it out of the ball park! That the scene takes place in a mall really adds to the 90's vibe! DECARLO's Pet shop that can not be just a coincidence?
Yeah! Dillon's version is far more dynamic. Even the white highway stripe adds something. That the heroes are in a trance does not help the cover. In this story Superman is in JLA Headquarters and flying in outer space. He does not appear in this part of, The Private War of Johnny Dune.

That it could be almost anyone to me is part of the appeal! I suspect the printed version is much more apparent.
Awesome stuff! That is quite a difficult subject to get done right!
Great Page. I like the three dimensional effect of the Viking!
WHOA! That is an awesome cover by Gammill and Breeding you got there in your gallery!
Perez just autographed this page for me at Wizard Con! It was great getting a chance to meet with him and talk a bit!
I certainly miss having this page on my walls! It is a great page! I almost thought about painting a big black circle on the package when I shipped it.
Much appreciated that loosens the cobwebs in my memory! Well I am pleased that the page is written by Paul Dini and I am somewhat embarrassed that I did not recognize this was J. Bone!
Dang! I missed bidding on this one! I like the way this page looks like one of those fashion comics Marvel did way back in the day.
I agree completely. Perhaps sometime at a convention I may have Bob McLeod autograph this page.
