Description

The title reads Cover. A similar pin up was published in Kid Colt Outlaw issue 222. I am estimating that this page is a few years older than the one published in Kid Colt Outlaw. There is developing fluid on this page which to me would mean that a copy of this page does exist in Marvel's files. There are two very similar covers to this one done by Gil Kane for Night Rider, issues 1 and 4. The saddle matches the cover to Kid Colt Giant Size 3 published in 1975, which does not appear inside the comic. It is possible that this page was done during the transitional period where Night Rider was given his own title, before costumes and logos were finalized. Regardless it is a very cool page.

Fellow CAF Member Jeff Jaworski has the inked version by Pollard of this pin up which was later published in Kid Colt Outlaw #222.
