11x17" on some kind of velvety goodness

I mean... wow. Brian is a guy I just love- as an artist and a man. He cooked this piece up special for me outside of his usual sketch opportunities. He's always always always good, but I think you'll agree that this is exceptionally wonderful. I don't think I gave him any guidance about the subject matter other than that it be X-Men related, because duh.

I feel like I should write more about this piece, but I'm honestly at a loss for words. Wolverine in the foreground with his big hair and fangs, his menacing claws, and his veiny foot. A collection of cool and evocative vignettes in the background. Gawdamn it's just so sweet.

Savage stuff! Brian packs so much in here. Lots to pore over! Love that dichotomy of the small silhouetted figure at the top left then the uber zoomed in profile face right next to it! Congrats!
