Description

Bursting forth from the Bronze Age! The great new series from the New House of Ideas - The Atlas League!

The old Atlas line, while brief, had a lot of cool stuff going for it. Lots of great art from folks like Howard Chaykin, Neal Adams, Klaus Janson, Ernie Colon and Steve Ditko and cool characters like the Grim Ghost and Phoenix. I love the idea of a unified team from all those bits and pieces and I think Chris did an amazing job bringing the whole thing together on this cover. The Brute, Man-Monster and Demon-Hunter are beautiful!

The Brute,Man-Monster and Son of Dracula? I'm in for the long haul with this book! Chris did a great job with pencils and dress with this one! Congrats Kevin!

Nice commission by Chris and a great reminder of how this could have been a a really good comic company of the Goodmans had stuck with it, especially since they had an incredible talent line up.

is it me or have I never seen any original art pages from Atlas, were they all destroyed? Those Ditko Destructer pages were awesome.

... I feel like I've seen a page or two somewhere. Instinct is to say I used one as part of the reference batch for this one. But I've certainly read about how, at the end, things were in such bad shape that folks were just walking off with the original art.
