Description

My favorite and only art by Disney Artist Pat Block is this large four panel strip. Published in " A Tribute to Carl Barks, A Lost River Star Special Edition, July 1995". The LOST RIVER STAR was a newspaper in Carl Barks' hometown of Merrill, Oregon. Contained in a twenty-two page stapled section were many illustrations, some in color; cartoons; family photos; also memories and tributes to the "Good Duck Artist". Forward by Roy E. Disney. The colored cover shows Uncle Scrooge in the watercolor: "Black Gold! Yellow Gold! They Keep A Guy From Getting Old".
