DescriptionThe published art we all know of Mr Punch is all colored but that is all finished on the computer.For all pages Dave did the Black and White line art first. This was then transferred to an overlay which was mounted over the digital art. In some cases there was just very small amount of acrylics added to the digital. So these black and white pages actually are the originals for this famous Neil Gaiman & Dave Mckean book. I had never even seen these until 2 years ago when I bought the first couple of pages that Dave decided to part with. All pages are 59.5 x 42 with an image/art size of 38 x 28 cm or 23 3/8 x 16,5 image 15 x 11 inch Social/Sharing |
