Description

Vol. 5 The Best Defense, September 27, 2006

A lone survivor in prison riot gear making a run for it.

The last 3 panels on this are stats but each has hand drawn characters on them. This scene reminds me of the '68 Romero zombie flick which had a small herd roaming in fields in black and white. Exceptionally happy to own it!

Great sequential storytelling. The page and panels invite you to pause and consider the fate of this poor soul. Not unlike seeing a gazelle at the waters edge, knowing the crocodile will get him
